It was a quiet day at the house with just me and my mum. We were cooking a fry up to have for breakfast we had egg,sausage,beans,tomartoes and when we went to cook the bacon we spilt a bit of oil on the stove so we washed it and then we cooked the bacon but we left it for a couple of seconds and we heard the fire alarm go off and so we rushed out to the kitchen were the fire was and it was the oil we think that set the fire alarm off and so we tried to put it out but it just got bigger and bigger so then Danni my mate next door had come round and called the fire brigades so the fire brigades came and tried to put the fire out so they got the big hose out and they put the water on I said to Danni "our house is going to be a bit damaged after this fire" so Danni gave us some money to help us get our house back to normal suddenly a fire man came over and said "the fire has been put out but the house is a bit damaged" my mum jumped on him and said "thank you very much I will never spill a bit of oil again thank you so much" so me and my mum plus Danni was in the house trying to tidy up and we were not even half way through yet so we are trying to go out get new cooker new basically everything but at the end of the day our house was saved .
