In a far away island called Radiance Leif and Ryu were preparing for a venture out into the Forests Of Silence to find a legendry sword called Vine Winder which has the power of the earth element.

There are 8 elemental plains where 8 elemental swords are hidden. There are earth, ice, water, wind, fire, darkness, light and thunder and a sword for each one. Leif heard something a rumbling coming towards them from the woods it was getting louder "Its the spawn" shouted Ryu. They started running as fast as they could but little did they know they ran off the path. Leif fell and was caught by the spawn then Ryu turned sword drawn an ran straight towards the pack leader but he slipped and went unconscious.

Finally when Ryu woke up he was unable to move he was paralyzed.  He could see Leif  he was stunned as well suddenly a girl appeared out of no where and looked at Ryu weirdly, then swiped his scarf and ran off Leif shouted "No, come back" but she had gone unexpectedly. They heard a rustle in the bushes. Ryu closed his eyes and muttered "This is it" but nothing happened. He looked to see what was wrong just to see that girl looking at him again but this time with Leif. Ryu said "how on hell did you get up" and before he could say anymore the girl was shoving these leaves into his mouth and told them to climb the tree. As Ryu approached the tree the rumble came again the girl screamed "climb" so they climbed as fast as they could they were about 3/4 of the way up. When the spawn came they looked angry as they sniffed up to the tree and looked up with his piercing red eyes, but then it ran away as this figure entered the clearing holding the vine winder and said "You will not take the treasure I hold dear". Ryu jumps down and declared "I will take that sword from your dead hands", the figure replies "You want my sword not my treasure". Leif jumps down "Yes can we have it" the figure says "For a trade for that scarf". The girl hands over the scarf "Here you go",  so he hands over the sword good and he disperses into smoke then Ryu shouts "Yes we got it" and the girl says "No I got it"  "WHAT!!" shouts Ryu "It was a joint effort. I will give it to you if you let me join your quest ok if that floats your boat next to the glacier of ghosts for the blizzard blade."
