Lucy was sitting at home relaxing, she had just come back from her fathers museum. Her father worked at the Louvre in France a massive museum which holds very famous painting by people like Leonardo with the famous Mona Lisa. Lucy was bought up by her father but one day they had an argument and have never talked since. Lucy's dad kept trying to contact her though letters this made Lucy mad in the head.

One night she was watching television when the Louvre came up on the news with police everywhere. it said that Mr.James had just been murdered he was shot in the chest! She couldn't sleep that night all these thoughts spinning around. The next day Lucy rang up one of her really old friends and told him the news she said to him that she wanted to find his killer, Jim his name was, they meet each other in playschool and have kept in touch ever since. Jim stat at home for a while thinking why Lucy would have wanted to find his killer herself, but he was glad that she called him to help her.

They both met up the next day in a cafe and decided that they should go and look at the body look for any clues. In the Louvre Lucy felt very strage because she had been here many times with her father when she was a little girl. It bought back loads of fun memories before her and her dad fell out. when she saw the body of her father just lying there helplessly she and Jim where shocked. But Lucy didn't cry. Her face just blanked, Jim could put his finger to what she was feeling.

Jim thought it would be a good idea to look his dairies or something that might tell them who might hold something against him like a grudge. All they found was normal things in his diary and how much he missed Lucy. Lucy never thought that he missed her so much. All the letters that he sent her she throw away she just thought that he was bugging her and that was what made her mad inside. But she has never told anyone, but her neighbour had seen her change, acting weirdly.

They went to the Tree Library (its a special kind of library it holds everyone who's ever lived in France in they family tree) Lucy had never been here before but Jim had many times. They got a computer and typed in Mr.lewis James. Lucy was amassed that it had a photo of everyone in her family, she only had one picture of her mother and she hadn't seen for years it made a tear come in to her eye Jim gave her a hug, then they carried on looking at there family history to see if there was anyone in there family that would have killed him. Lucy didn't want to do this but Jim insisted but no luck.

Suddenly Jim remembered an old friend. MAX! he said out loud Lucy said who the hell is max? he's not in my family! no no no he's my old friend. He is a retired Spy, Lucy didn't like the sound of him but didn't say anything. They decided to go and visit him the next day. when they got to his house Jim told him everything they know so far and about Lucy and Lewis's big fall out. Max said that he would look it to it he knows a lot about family fall outs he studied them for two years. he told them to leave him to it and for them to get some sleep because they both looked tried.

Lucy went home feeling very nervous and self-conscious. Jim got a phone call three days later from Max, Max told him to come to his house straight away without Lucy. Jim was confused why wasn't Lucy aloud to come. When Max explained everything it all seemed clear everything fitted. Lucy killed her own father! Max said that he went to her neighbours house and she told Max about the madness thing and about the family fall out that happened.

Max phoned the police, but Jim didn't want to tell the police because it was his good friend. but it was to late he could do nothing to help Lucy! Lucy heard the sirens coming to get her she tried to hide but before she could Lucy was hand cuffed. And sent to jail!
