Vocal Skills

Facial expression
- The teller uses appropriate facial gesture to clarify or

Body Language
- The teller uses appropriate non-verbal communication to clarify or
exemplify
- meaning. The teller makes clear spatial relationship between characters
and
- narrator.
Placement
- The teller uses space to give a definite place to objects used and
imagined.
Focus
- Concentration is clear. The teller makes direct eye contact with
all members of the audience. A definite stage presence is
demonstrated.
Characterisation
- Dialogue is employed and the tellers voice and body language is
apposite.
Pace & Time
- The teller presents the story efficiently and holds the listeners
attention throughout.
