Murder in Baghdad by Brett from Wey Valley School (oh and keep an eye out for the hero!)

It was a dark, dank night in the middle of Baghdad.  A murderer was on the loose.  Every morning bodies were found hidden in the most strange places (squashed into a post-box, hugging a tree and sitting on top of a Coalition Army tent to name but a few).

This night, however, someone was following the murderer, armed to the teeth with all sorts of weapons.  This someone (who shall remain nameless in the interests of national security) was not as careful as she (oops sorry, letting the cat out the bag a bit there...) should be and the murderer was able to ambush her (oh what the heck) and pinch the weapons before leaving her to make her way home rather shamefacedly (obviously not worth the trouble of murdering then...)

The top people in Baghdad, when they heard about this, were very, very worried and decided to call in an expert in the "handling of all sorts of people", one Mr Thomas (??!!).

Mr Thomas flew in from Wey Valley School (not very pleased it has to be said as he had been looking forward to meeting and greeting some judges or other who were coming to talk to someone or other from the SEN Department who had done something rather spectacular on the Internet - or other).

He soon got the measure of the murderer and marched about quite fearlessly the next night around Baghdad with grenades, machine guns and all sorts strewn about his person.  Once again the murderer ambushed him and ran off (he did think about murdering Mr Thomas but his tea was waiting at home for him so decided not to).

Unfortunately, the murderer didn't realise that Mr Thomas had armed all the grenades ready to explode just seven and a half minutes later.

Say no more then.

The people of Baghdad were saved!
