A Horrible Day in Oldham by Chelsea from Counthill School
It was a horrible day in Oldham. An important message was on its way to the King but somehow someone gets it wrong and the message never arrives.
The king was frantic - he needed to know when the enemy were about to attack!
Grew the Avenger stands up and promises to get the message to the King and that it won't get lost. He has to battle against wind and rain, enemies and wild animals but he gets the message to the King.
The King was able to prepare for the attack and Oldham survived without harm.
