The Fort by Marcus

There was a great Fort on the edge of a desert.  It was a dark and windswept night and the Fort was under siege from the Wizards living in the next desert.  Suddenly there was a massive bang and the wall of the Fort collapsed.

The Leader of the Fort, Sir Le-Montard started to panic.

"We need the dragons to help us!" he cried.

Everyone thought for a moment (only a moment as there was not much time) as to the best way to call the dragons in to help.

A passing eagle, on his way to Somewhere Else, solved the problem.  Sir Le-Montard lassoed him down and gave him a pink envelope to deliver immediately to the dragons and the eagle, a little embarrassed at carrying a pink envelope, went on his way.

Another wall was just about to fall when the sound of thundering claws could be heard - the eagle had delivered the pink envelope and the dragons had arrived to save the day.

Well, actually, they didn't quite save the day as they arrived far too quickly, their claws couldn't stop them in time, they crashed headlong into the fort which collapsed in a heap of rubble!

HOWEVER, Sir Le-Montard had a willing crew of shame-faced dragons to help him rebuild his Fort (with all mod cons of course - central heating for those cold nights etc), even the eagle came back and carried a brick or two!
