The Story about Gemmasfield!

It was a lovely sunny morning in Gemmasfield and
the little happy children were all skipping to school. It was about 19oC. All
the men kissed their wife’s and set of to work in the diamond factories or the
farming fields. As it was so hot all the men were wearing shorts and t-shirts.
That night there was a terrible storm. Outside the town and beyond the
Wolf Wood up on the hill there lived a beastly witch. The beastly witch only
comes out when she feels hungry (which was every night.) The only type of found
she ate was the little boys and girls of Gemmasfield. Not a lot of children went
to school because they were all frightened of the witch, they thought that she
was going to get them when they walked to school. The children that had to go to
school finally died, she had ate them all when they walked home from school, no
one could take it anymore.
One day once the witch found out that there were no children left at the
school to eat, she decided to destroy their little town of Gemmasfield. She put
acid into the river, she set fire to the houses, and she kidnapped the men’s
wives and kept them as prisoners and they had to work as a slave so they
wouldn’t get killed, she killed all the farm animals so no one could eat or
work. She was so horrible that once she had finished with the town there was
nothing left of Gemmasfield.
The men were all very upset with finding their wife’s not at home when they returned from a hard days work. The children that had not gone to school or been eaten, told their fathers that the horrible witch had taken their mothers to her cave so they would have to work as a slave otherwise she would kill them and throw their bodies into the Wolf Wood. All of the men were scared of her because of the horrible things she had done. She was a very old lady but she was still as horrible as she was when she first found out she was a witch.
In the morning they all packed their beds away (they slept in the church because it was the only building that was not destroyed,) and decided to have a privet meeting. The meeting went on for quite some time, and some of the ideas for getting their wife’s back were to capture her, when she is asleep sneak into the cave and sneak their wife’s out, send her as far away as possible or close the entrance and exit doors so she can’t escape and then set fire to the cave and leave her to die. The idea that they thought was the best was to capture her and then they would kill her so she will not course any more trouble or damage.
That night before the witch woke up, the men collected their things and they collected the net and set of for the entrance of the cave. When they climbed through the Wolf Wood they were feeling really scared. They had never been through the Wolf Wood before so they were not use to the dark. When they arrived they unfolded the net. Everyone got hold of a corner and pulled the net over the entrance of the witch’s cave.
When the witch woke up she collected her magic broomstick from the corner off the room and got ready for a good nights flight. She saw the net and used a magic spell to break the net. She flew past the men and gave a really dirty laugh. When she got quite high, the men throw the net into the sky to try and capture her even though she was high in the sky, but the net missed and the witch and feel down and landed on the men. Their plan had failed. They thought that they had a great idea, but obviously their idea was just a waste of time.
When they were about to give up when they saw a shadow, it was the outsider and he was picking some berries for his tea. He was a poor, smelly, out man from the outside of Gemmasfield. He was an outsider because he was trying to sell drugs to the young children but of course no one brought any because it was a very VERY bad thing and it was illegal.
The men asked the man, whose name was Adam, if he could help them. He asked what is in it for me and the men said that if he is good and kind that he could move back into town.
They all went back to the church to discuss what should they do. Adam thought and he thought and then out of the blue an excellent idea came so he told it to everyone. The plan was to try and make friends with her but first when the witch goes out for her night time fly we shall go into her cave and take everything that belongs to her. So everyone went to sleep until night fall.
When night time came, everyone had seven hours with to do the plan so they collected seven huge bags and set of for the cave. When they reached Wolf Wood, instead of going through the woods they went around it so they wouldn’t get scared. They waited for the witch to leave and then sneaked into the cave and started to collect her things, but then the witch returned so everyone stayed still until she left. They were all safe because she was not looking around she just went straight to her magic spell book then went straight out but then dropped it again but she couldn’t be asked to pick it up so she just went out with out it.
Once everything was collected into the bags they got the key and opened the door to which their wife’s were in. Then they all ran down the hill, around the Wolf Wood straight to the church where they hide the witch’s stuff and stayed the night. After a couple of hours when everyone was a sleep they heard a tremendous scream, it was the witch (everyone chuckle.) The witch came flying down the hill and slammed opened the church door and screamed WHERE IS ALL MY MAGIC THINGS, WHO EVER TOOK IT BETTER GIVE IT BACK OTHERWISE I WILL KILL YOU ALL, SO YOU BETTER OWN UP!
One of the men stood up and said if she would build the town back and won’t eat anymore children and turn nice and become all of our friends then we shall give back all of your stuff back. The witch thought for a couple of minutes then shouted NO and then flew out the door back to her cave and cried because she wondered why she had no friends. Then it ticked, she was horrible so she would have no friends. Then when she was a sleep she had a dream about having friends and that everyone liked her and she was nice, she was not eating any children because they were her friends. So when she woke up she wanted to make friends with the people of Gemmasfield.
When everyone woke up they went outside to start to rebuild the towns when there in front of them there was the witch and lovely big houses. No one could believe there eyes, it worked the old mans plan had worked, the witch had changed and she has rebuilt the town and created some real children. They all became friends and on that day they would call it Nice Witch Day! And for Adam the poor man he cane and lived in the village and they were all happy and Adam was never poor or smelly or homeless ever again because everyone was happy not sad but happy. So the horrible beastly witch turned into the loveliest and kindest and friendliest woman and everyone forgot that she ever was a witch. The town was changed for ever.
