Legend by Tom at William Cobbett Junior School

In the deepest part of the Transylvanian Mountains there was a deep, dark lake.  The local people avoided the lake as there was a troupe of clowns who lived in its depths - a troupe of clowns who rather liked the taste of the local villagers.

The villagers had tried everything to get rid of the clowns, even spraying them with one of the brand new fire engine's high speed water jet, but they loved it.

A little girl called Joanne, who had noticed that although the clowns lived deep in the depths of the lake, they were rather grubby, went down to the lake and sprayed them as they came towards her with a shampoo spray she had bought at the local chemist.  The clowns were horrified and swam away as fast as they could.

Unfortunately, as they swam out of the narrow channel at the far end of the deep dark lake they met a blue whale who happened to be passing by at the time.  He opened his mouth as wide as possible...........no more clowns!!!!!!!

Note from Editor:  Thank you Tom for a lovely idea which was so easy to write up! I didn't even have to think about it!
