Cheerful Chad

Chad was a boy who liked his lunch. When he got up, the first thing he said was, “What shall I have for lunch?”

His Mum told her chums that he was cheeky. He did not say hello, he did not say much, just, “What shall I have for my lunch?”

On Monday he had a chunk of cheese.

On Tuesday he had chips.

On Wednesday he had chicken.

On Thursday he had a chop.

On Friday he had chilli.

On Saturday he had chocolate.

On Sunday he had a bit of each before he went to church.

Mum said he was a cheeky child and if he did not check his eating, he would be a chunky chap.

Chad said that this was silly chat and he was a champ who would not get fat. He had a hunch that he could cheat and eat and eat and not get fat.

All too soon it came to the crunch and too much cheese, chips, chicken, chops, chocolate and chilli made him a sick child.

Mum said, “You must choose. Check what you eat, change your choice or you will be a chump who is too fat to get out of his chair.”

Chad chose well and soon could chat of other things and not just lunch.

I have a hunch that all Chad’s friends are glad that they do not have to chat as Chad eats all that grub.  He can chase them each day instead of watching them play!
