The Pluto Plant

A plane flew over the plain next to the sea and the pilot, who was called Plug Plonker saw the Duck-Billed-Platypus plucking at some unusual plants. The pilot circled again hoping to take photos, but the Duck-Billed-Platypus had disappeared.
"Please come back Duck-Billed-Platypus!" pleaded the pilot to himself.
There was plenty of space near the plants so the pilot decided to land the plane nearby. Plug plodded towards the plague of plants with his camera placed over his shoulder. The plants looked like they had come from the planet Pluto somehow and planted themselves in the plain. The Pluto Plant, as Plug decided to call them, looked really strange because it was feeding on plankton and the leaves were pink plaid with a central pleat.
"The plant's fluffy beard is plaited and dangles in the sea." Plug noticed.
Then, the Duck-Billed-Platypus reappeared, he in plonked himself down and enjoyed nibbling on the leaves of the plant, which is really surprising because the leaves are made of plastic!
Plug placed his camera correctly and took some photographs.
Happy, he returned to his plane and took off.
