Sniff and Snow White

Sniff and Griff Whippet were the brothers of Whiffer. Do you remember Whiffer the Whippet? He who ended up, well shall we say, not quite himself (if you have not heard about Whiffer he is the hero of two of the other tales and you can find out all about him by clicking on his name).
Sniff and Griff were well-known in the music business as rather nifty guitar players. Sniff had a snout like a snorkel and Griff was the most awful snob.
It was coming up to Pantomime Season and Sniff was asked to play the part of the wicked Queen in Snow White. Er, quite why he was asked no-one really knows, but he was and he snivelled a bit about it but decided to accept. Griff was, understandably, shocked by this and snuck off into a snug corner to sulk for at least six months (so we shall just leave him there and say no more about him).
Sniff turned up for the first rehearsal of Snow White in a fetching pink snood (a kind of hair-net if you are wondering) thinking he looked just the part. Unfortunately for him the pink snood clashed dreadfully with his choice of purple leggings and he was greeted by sneers and sniggers from the rest of the cast. Sniff stomped off the stage in a rage which was only made worse by the fact that he snagged his leggings on a microphone stand which someone had left on the side.
He quickly changed into a silver fleecy tracksuit and sped back onto the stage like a flash of forked lightning, landing in a crumpled heap at the feet of the Director who snorted loudly, stepped back and fell off the edge of the stage. He hit his head so hard he snoozed and snored for quite seventeen minutes whilst Sniff fussed around him trying to wake him up.
The seven dwarves, in the meantime, were having a wonderful time playing rounders on the stage but one of them (possibly Dopey?) whacked the ball so hard it hit Sniff on the top of his snorkel-like snout and down he went right on top of the Director.
The Director woke up thinking he was in heaven, surrounded by silvery fleecy bits and bobs, and was lying there quite happily floating on a cloud when he felt something dripping onto his right ear. Yes, you have guessed it, Sniff was snivelling again and the salty tears were sneaking down his snout and trickling into the Director's ear.
The tears flowed and flowed, they filled the theatre in no time at all, no-one escaped the flood. The whole cast was swept away through the door and down the street to the sea where they floated away for a year and a day and finally set up camp on a remote island somewhere in the middle of the Indian Ocean. They can be found there to this day, doomed to acting out the story of Snow White over and over again for ever more.
Ships sailing within seventy miles of that island can hear on the wind a snivelling little voice crying "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?" every seven minutes and they quickly turn to port (or starboard - whatever) and sneak off into the night as fast as they possibly can.

1. What musical instruments did Sniff and Griff play?
2. What colour leggings did Sniff wear?
3. What outfit did Sniff change into?
4. What game were the Seven Dwarves playing on stage?
5. For how many miles could Sniff's voice be heard from the island?
6. Was Sniff a good choice to play the Wicked Queen? Who do you know who could play that part?
